David Ramirez
Piano/Flute Teacher
David Ramirez received his Bachelor’s in Flute Performance from California State University, Northridge where he graduated Cum Laude in 2021. During his time at Cal State Northridge, David won the CSUN Concerto Competition in his Freshman Year, after which, he performed
Cecile Chaminade’s Concertino with the CSUN Symphony in December 2018. David also won several Scholarships during his time at CSUN, including the Colburn Classical Music Scholarship in 2019. After completing his time at CSUN, where he played as Principal Flute with the CSUN Symphony, CSUN Wind Ensemble, CSUN Opera Orchestra, and Northridge Flute Quartet, David has dedicated his time to teaching private flute lessons, as well as teaching beginner piano, both of which he teaches in both English and Spanish. David currently plays Principal Flute with Synesthesia Sinfonietta and is an active member of the group he co-founded, SOLCAL Chamber Group. David is an active Freelance musician in the Los Angeles Area and will be beginning his Master’s in Flute Performance in the Fall of 2022 at the University of Southern California. |
