Our Mission Statement 

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower the children and youth of the San Fernando Valley through music education.  Through our free and affordable programs, we aim to instill skills and competencies that will help our students achieve academic success, live a happier and more fulfilled life, and positively impact their communities. Since 2005, we have been committed to providing free and affordable, quality music education to the children and youth of the San Fernando Valley.

Nueva Vision Community School believes that broad access to music education has the power to transform communities. Our organization understands that in order to maximize the impact of our music programs in the San Fernando Valley community, a true commitment to cultural equity and inclusion is necessary. Since its founding, NVCS has opened its doors to all community members and continues to create an environment where leadership, staff, volunteers, program participants and their families feel respected and valued.
